CPP Packaging Material Statement

Regulation (EU) 2025/40 — Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, PPWR

CPP-LM Ltd reviews the packaging materials used for the supply of CPP® products and maintains supplier declarations and technical information in support of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, known as PPWR.

CPP packaging may include corrugated cardboard cartons, LDPE or polyethylene bags, labels, adhesive tape, pallet wrap, stretch film and protective packaging, depending on the product, order quantity and method of supply.

Based on supplier declarations and supporting information currently held, CPP packaging materials are generally paper/cardboard-based and/or polyolefin plastic-based materials. Where applicable, supplier information confirms that packaging materials supplied to CPP are recyclable in the appropriate waste stream and may include recycled content.

CPP also maintains supplier declarations relating to restricted substances in packaging. Based on information currently held, the relevant packaging materials used by CPP comply with the PPWR heavy metals limit for the combined concentration of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium.

CPP does not intentionally add PFAS, BPA or other bisphenols to the packaging used for the supply of its products. Supplier information currently held also confirms that PFAS, BPA and other bisphenols are not intentionally added to relevant packaging materials supplied to CPP.

Where food-contact packaging is required or declared, CPP holds supporting supplier information for the relevant packaging material. Food-contact suitability must always be confirmed against the specific product, packaging material, medium, temperature, contact time and intended use.

This statement is based on supplier declarations and supporting information available to CPP-LM Ltd at the date of issue. CPP will continue to maintain and update its packaging compliance file as further supplier declarations, technical data sheets and supporting documents are received.

This statement relates to packaging materials used for the supply of CPP products. It does not constitute a product food-contact Declaration of Compliance unless separately issued for a specific product, material and application.
