This CPP® Type C (Part C) coupling connects a hose with a nominal 75mm internal diameter to a matching 3″ male Camlock adaptor. It provides a quick connection for liquid-transfer hoses, with a barbed hose tail for use with a suitable hose clamp.

Manufactured from glass-filled polypropylene, the coupling includes 304 stainless steel cam arms, rings and pins, together with a polypropylene-based elastomer sealing gasket. Closing both cam arms secures the mating adaptor against the gasket.

Pressure ratings — water service

Temperature Pressure rating
−10°C 3 bar (approximately 44 psi)
20°C 5 bar (approximately 73 psi)
65°C 2 bar (approximately 29 psi)

These ratings apply to CPP® Camlocks in the 3″ size category and are based on water service. They are a guide only; verify suitability by testing under the intended conditions of use and meet applicable health and safety requirements. The complete assembly is limited by its lowest-rated component.

Installation and use

Secure the hose tail with a clamp suitable for the hose and application. Check compatibility of the body, gasket and connected components with the liquid and operating temperature. Support attached hoses and pipework to avoid strain on the fitting, and release system pressure before disconnecting.
