Collection: 2'' Dry-Shut™

The CPP® 2" Dry-Shut™ System is a high flow automatic shut-off coupling system designed for safer, cleaner and more efficient liquid transfer applications. Engineered and manufactured from glass filled polypropylene (GFPP), the system helps reduce spillage, minimise product waste and limit air inclusion during connection and disconnection.

Designed around an ISO 7241-1 Series A (ISO-A) interchangeable profile, the Dry-Shut™ coupling automatically closes both internal poppets when disconnected, shutting off liquid flow with no external levers or switches required. The simple push-connect operation makes the system quick and easy to use in industrial, agricultural and chemical handling environments.

The precision moulded coupling bodies are manufactured in corrosion resistant glass filled polypropylene and fitted with Viton® sealing elements for excellent chemical resistance and long service life. Internal 316 stainless steel springs provide reliable shut-off performance and consistent poppet operation even in demanding applications.

The CPP® Dry-Shut™ System has been developed for high flow transfer systems where conventional camlocks or threaded couplings can result in excessive liquid loss during disconnection. Typical applications include IBC transfer systems, chemical dosing, agricultural spraying equipment, process transfer lines, washdown systems and industrial fluid handling.

Important Information

As with most ISO-A dry disconnect systems, a small residual volume of liquid may remain within the coupling during disconnection. Approximately 80 ml of fluid may discharge on opening and suitable drip trays or bunding should be used where required.
