¾″ Female Camlock × ½″ BSPP Female (Type D) - GF Polypropylene - CPP®

This CPP® Type D (Part D) coupling connects a matching ¾″ male Camlock adaptor to equipment or pipework with a suitable ½″ male threaded connection. It combines a female threaded connection with a Camlock socket for quick connection and disconnection.

Manufactured from glass-filled polypropylene, the coupling includes 304 stainless steel cam arms, rings and pins, together with a polypropylene-based elastomer sealing gasket. Closing both cam arms secures the mating adaptor against the gasket.

Camlock compatibility: Fits matching ¾″ male Camlock heads manufactured to EN 14420-7 or US specification A-A-59326.

Choosing the correct size: The ½″ measurement refers to the BSPP thread. The Camlock head is ¾″, so select a matching ¾″ male adaptor.

Pressure ratings — water service

These ratings apply to CPP® Camlocks in the ½″–2″ size range and are based on water service. They are a guide only; verify suitability by testing under the intended conditions of use and meet applicable health and safety requirements. The complete assembly is limited by its lowest-rated component.

Thread specification

BSPT means British Standard Pipe Taper; BSPP means British Standard Pipe Parallel. This product uses BSPP female threads to ISO 228-1.

Installation and use

Check the mating thread and provide a sealing arrangement suitable for the BSPP connection and the application. The Camlock gasket seals the Camlock connection; it does not seal the threaded joint. Avoid overtightening the plastic thread. Check compatibility of the body, gasket and connected components with the liquid and operating temperature. Support attached hoses and pipework to avoid strain on the coupling, and release system pressure before disconnecting.
