This CPP® Type F (Part F) adaptor connects a matching 1½″ female Camlock coupler to equipment or pipework through its 1½″ NPT male thread. It allows the Camlock joint to be connected and disconnected while the threaded end remains installed.

Manufactured from glass-filled polypropylene, the adaptor has a male Camlock profile that fits inside a matching female coupler. The cam arms and sealing gasket are carried by the mating female coupler.

Pressure ratings — water service

Temperature Pressure rating
−10°C 5 bar (approximately 73 psi)
20°C 6.5 bar (approximately 94 psi)
65°C 3 bar (approximately 44 psi)

These ratings apply to CPP® Camlocks in the ½″–2″ size range and are based on water service. They are a guide only; verify suitability by testing under the intended conditions of use and meet applicable health and safety requirements. The complete assembly is limited by its lowest-rated component.

Installation and use

Use a suitable mating thread and sealing arrangement; avoid overtightening plastic threads. Check compatibility of the body, gasket and connected components with the liquid and operating temperature. Support attached hoses and pipework to avoid strain on the fitting, and release system pressure before disconnecting.
