Check for a coarse external buttress thread with a nominal outside diameter of 60 mm (2.362″) and a pitch of 6 mm (0.236″). Measure over the thread crests, not the hole. The matching CPP adaptor has an S60X6 female tank connection.

2″ NPS

IBC valve with an exposed 2 inch NPS male outlet

Check that the valve has a dedicated 2″ NPS male straight-thread outlet and a suitable gasket sealing face. NPS, NPT and BSP must not be identified from a similar appearance alone. Check the valve specification or ask CPP when uncertain.

Connection identifier — 2″ Camlock

2″ Camlock

Look for a male Camlock profile with a locking groove. Confirm the 2″ coupling size and sealing face from the valve specification or CPP size chart. A short thread on the nose may be for a protective cap; it does not by itself identify a pipe connection.

S100X8

IBC valve with an exposed S100X8 large coarse buttress-thread outlet

Check for a large coarse external buttress thread with a nominal outside diameter of 100 mm (3.937″) and a pitch of 8 mm (0.315″). A 3″ or DN80 valve marking alone does not confirm S100X8. The matching CPP adaptor has an S100X8 female tank connection.
